Ann Curran is a Certified Master Groomer with National Dog Groomers Association of America.

As a Pet Grooming business owner Ann attended a Toronto grooming show. Besides the grooming supply vendors there was a focus on continuing education with seminars for business owners and a very exciting possibility, Groomer Certification testing including introduction to Grooming Competitions!
Ann has never looked back!
She immediately pursued her Master Groomer title, enhancing her business and putting her in touch with breeders of Purebred dogs for her course and then for competition. This led to grooming for dogs competing in Conformation shows.
Ann has sought grooming education from grooming teachers, grooming videos, grooming seminars, breeders and conformation handlers.
The Ottawa Valley All Setter Association asked Ann to teach grooming to their membership and the teaching part of Ann’s career was born.

Ann has taught workshops to groomers on purebred dogs called “Workshops with Ann Curran” on facebook. These workshops are always hands on. Breeders have joined in sharing their dogs with pet groomers that want to learn “Breed Profile Trims”.

Ann is a Nationally ranked competition groomer in Canada having numerous placements in the Open Division.

One of Ann’s grooming competition dogs returned to the show ring and won Multiple Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show Awards.

Ann started a new grooming show in Ontario called “Champion Grooming Show” which after 3 very successful years is on a Covid hiatus.
Ann currently grooms many show dogs in her area and does a little showing in the conformation ring.
