How to Level Up

Your Stacking

Live webinar: Wednesday, July 30th at 4pm PT / 7pm ET

Take your stacking skills to the next level with a critique and 'Stacking Scorecard' from Allison. Learn to improve your speed, overall silhouette, effectiveness of the stack, and more.

When stacking your dog being able to do so quickly is key. Being able to create the correct silhouette, 'correct' faults and present the correct structure and features of your dog is what makes an ideal, next-level stack.

In this webinar, YOU will submit a 15-second video stacking your dog (optional, but highly encouraged!). Allison will critique your stacking technique and result, and give you a 'Stacking Scorecard'.

Topics will include:

  • Stacking speed
  • Is your dog stacked properly (structurally)?
  • Did you correct any faults in your stack?
  • Is there a ‘ta da’ moment?
  • Wat are you trying to feature to the judge?
  • Head and tail placement
  • Head, expression and bite
  • Overall silhouette
  • and more!
  • Don't forget to submit photos and/or videos with your webinar Q&A (as well as the Stacking Scorecard) so Allison can provide you detailed feedback! Photos/videos can remain anonymous at your request.

Stacking Scorecard instructions:

  • Submit a 15-second (or shorter) video of you stacking your dog. Ideally, create a new video but videos from past dog shows work as well.
  • In the video, the camera is considered the point of view of the judge. Ideally, please add 3-5 seconds showing the stack from the front of your dog.
  • If you submit a video longer than 15 seconds, we will choose the 15 seconds to score from the video. (PS - this time criteria is based on "The Fast Stack"!)
  • If you are unable to submit a video, we encourage you to send photos to the Q&A instead.
